The Butleigh Pavilion
A purpose built multi-function building that can cater for a whole host of events both private and for the community
The Pavilion is located at Backtown in the village of Butleigh within easy reach of both Street and Glastonbury.
Onsite Facilities
Parking: As you enter the site there is a large tarmac area in front of the pavilion that can accommodate up to 20 cars for parking.
Access: From the car parking area there is level access into the building through double doors into the main hall area. A single external door also gives access into the kitchen area.
Main Hall: The large main hall space that can be used for many different kinds of events from birthday parties, meetings, community events, talks etc. The hall can accommodate approximately a maximum of 60-70 people and there are chairs and tables stored in the hall that are available for events.
Kitchen: Connected to the hall area is the kitchen which is equipped with cooker/hob, 2 fridges, hot water urn, microwave, 2 sinks plus lots of storage space. Plenty of crockery and cutlery are available for use and stored in the kitchen cupboards.
Lobby: Also connected to the main hall is a lobby area where 4 toilets are located including 1 designated accessible facility. The plant room is also located in the lobby area.
Changing Rooms: Through the lobby area is where the changing rooms are located, there are 2 large changing rooms with shower and toilet facilities and third smaller changing room with a shower. The changing rooms are accessible from a separate external door meaning they can be used independently from the main hall facility.
Playing Fields: Large grass area which can be used for all types of recreational purposes and can accommodate a marquee for your event if required.
